- College interests me, therefore I’m spending my time, and power point;
on lessons I’ve learned since I’ve been in College.
- From my own experiences I will be able to share lessons, mistakes, rules
to live by and some accomplishments I have achieved throughout the way.

- Attention all Freshman, before you pick classes do not freak out. Hint
no one graduates in four years, but in order to keep your stress level
down here is some tricks…

- Ask some older kids around the dorm what the class entails
- If someone had the teacher see if they kept
- Older notes or quiz etc.

- Going to the first day of class may seem like the day you can skip and
have a four day weekend NO. I would not do this.
- Make sure to go to the first day of class to find out how to get a hold
of your Prof if you need too. Make sure to get the syllabus!
- If you go to the first day you find out how many classes you’ll really
going to have to go too.

- Its now two months in the semester and you check your grades and your
failing your

- Failing a class…First check to see how far away you are point wise from
the letter grade you’re trying to receive
- Check the Syllabus, for extra credit opportunities
- Talk to the T.A in the class find out why your suffering
- Push comes to shove find out when you can drop the class then you’ll
have to re-take it. Bummer… but now that you have dropped a class you
can now focus more time on your other classes.

- Hopefully no one will fail a class so lets talk about some study
habits….shall we….???
- Look up on your schools web site tutor opportunities, or ask your
professor during his or her office hours for extra help.
- Find a place where you can study every time, your brain will adopt and
want to learn there.
- Maybe form a study group with other kids with the same goal in mind as
yourself.
