On a personal level, I am entering college so that I can become more educated and have a better chance at getting a good job in the future. Neither of my parents went to college and are both extremely lucky to be as successful as they are. I dont want to have to be lucky to do well throughout life and I think that by going to college I am giving myself a good opportunity to be successful. I also want to go to college to meet new people and see the world beyond my hometown. I think that by going to a good sized university I will be able to make a lot of new friends and I also dont have to live in the same hometown that I grew up in.

On a professional level, I want to go to college so that I can have a successful career and a happy life. I want to get good grades while I'm here and graduate on time. I want to leave here with my degree and go out into the world fully qualified for the job that I want. I also want to be on the Dean's list for at least one semester of my college career.
