About ME
My Name is Suzy Jelken, I am 23 years old and currently a student at Western Michigan University. I am majoring in Elementary Education, with minors in math, science and social studies. All of my live I have wanted to become a teacher. At the age of five I told the kindergarten teacher that teaching is what I want to do when I grow up. I grew up in the small town of Fowlerville, which is located south east of Lansing. I grew up in a large family very close to my extended family. While in high school I worked at a family run business and enjoyed being close to them. Much of my family is in the teaching profession and everyone of them loves what they do. I have greatly enjoyed looking up to my family members growing up and they have be a tremendous influence on my life
