About Me

My Education

Major: Elementary education. I've always wanted to help children, so I thought of becoming a pedatrician. I soon realized that I can't stand the sight of blood. So teaching seemed the next logical step.

Minor: combined minors of Math/Science, English and Early Elementary Emphasis

Examples of Course work that I am especially proud of:

Lesson plan using technology

Digital Divide Paper

Team Unit Plan on Dinosaurs

Dinosaur Powerpoint Presentation (pictures don't download but you get the idea)

Other Professional Development Experiences

Here is a profile of my technology skill in January 2001

Here is how I hope to improve my teaching and technology skills in the future:

I hope to learn how to bring up my profile onto this web site to be displayed above! I also hope to continue attending technology classes, at least at the community college level. This field changes so rapidly that one must build upon previous knowledge. In a year or two this class, Ed 347, and all of it's intense information will be obsolete. In order to feel like I haven't just wasted time, effort, blood, sweat, and, yes, tears, I must continue.
