I did not know what to expect coming into BUS 270. After the first day, I thought it was going to be just like CS 105, but I was wrong. This course discussed many areas of information system relevant to business. I really enjoyed learning about all the different networks and topologies. I never knew what LAN (local area network) was before this course. The amount of time spent on collection and processing, Data Warehousing and Mining. I have used the internet for years and never knew all the different part to it. I know about IP address and firewalls. I really learned a lot from all of the group projects. Group work helps to clarify any unknown or confusion in the course. The SAP project was very confusing and makes me respect the people who work with SAP programs everyday. This class thought me about the world of computers and information system that I never knew was there. I really cherish the knowledge that I have obtained from this course.
