Project 3 Description

Project 3 objective was to choose a current company and analyze their use of the information and communication infrastructure. Creating a Input Processing Output model for a company we where able to discover how well that company collected, processed and stored information.

Project 3 Review

This project was my favorite because I learned the most form it. I researched the information model of Nextel. I learn how Nextel collected data thought sim card in each phone and at Nextel stores. I follow the entire information process from gathering data to the integration of a new produce, developed from the information collected. It was easy to understand how a goal driven information system can produces great results. Nextel had many input to analyze in effort to crate better phone service. Some element of the information model outputs could be processed in minutes while others take years.

From this assignment, I learned how important the information model is for advancement in any industry.
