Professional:

• Earned Employee of the Month award at Northpointe Heart Center (July 2005): I was nominated for this award by three co-workers when no one else was nominated even once.

• Consistently held down a job since age 14: While many students worked during the summers, I worked year-round and learned the importance of responsibility at a young age.

• Successfully implemented a new filing system for Alcoa: It took a year for this project to finally get finished, but the end results were worth it.

Scholarly:

• Earned a place on the Dean’s List for every semester except one: To be on the Dean’s List, you must have a GPA of 3.5 or above. The one semester that I was not on the Dean’s List, I earned a 3.3.

• Volunteered as a Bronco Buddy for incoming freshman: I helped students move into the dorms by instructing them where to go, and helping them carry their belongings to their new rooms.

• Active member of Society for Excellence in Human Resources: I have only been a member for the past few months and have already learned a lot about the HR field and formed great networking connections.

• Current GPA is 3.61
