Class Room Syllabus:

Hello, My name is Stacy Lane and you have entered the students Web Page. I am going to be your 3rd grade teacher. I am from Constantine Michigan and I have a daughter, Mercades Marie Lane-Cooper. I graduated from Western Michigan University in 2007 and have been teaching 3rd grade since then. I love my job and all of my students.

This year, you and I will be working on many new creative ideas. We will be doing a lot of reading and writing! Now that you have graduated from the second grade, they are ready for the next step! This year is going to be fantastic!!!

We will also be attending many field trips this year and they will be fun for all! Parents too. We will be learning about recycling, we will be doing culture studies, and we wll learn how to integrate technology into the classroom!

Expectations:

I expect you to be kind and curtous to others and those around them. I expect you to complete daily assignments and complete the very little homework I will give you. I also expect you to follow the classroom rules while you are at school! I also expect the you to succeed in many different levels of learning!

Homework Assignments

Although homework will be very limited in my classrrom, it is important that you complete all of your homework! Each day I will update the thid page so that you will be able to come to the classroom website and check to see what their homework assignments are. Your parents can become aware of the homework as well.

For today, I have asked that you go home and read your favorite book. You are to read the book to someone to yourself. When you return to class, we will make a word wall of "Our Favorite Stories."
