Education History

Personal Reflection
I decided that an elementary teacher was what I wanted to be when I had the opportunity to work at an elementary school my senior year of high school. While I was working at the elementary school, I had the opportunity to work directly with the students in several different classrooms and enjoyed every moment. I developed a passion to work with students. After I graduated, I attended a community college and then transferred to Western Michigan University where I am majoring in elementary education with a minor in integrated creative arts. I decided to choose this as a minor because I have always had an interest in the arts and I think it is important to incorporate them into the curriculum. I have taken many classes that have prepared me as a future teacher. Some of my favorite classes were ENG 369, DANCE 290, and MATH 352!

The papers and projects listed below have contributed to my growth as an educator!
