March will be filled will tons of fun for our classroom.  First I would like to start off by telling you what we are going to be learning this month. Our main focus is going to start with learning our times table. We have started to become familiar with them, but I really would like my students to know them well so they are ready for third grade next year.

Next we are working on our grammar. Your children are doing a wonderful job and continue to improve. If you could, please remember the more they practice the better they will get. Not only learning in school but also at home will be great for children’s future. Also, I have planned a field trip for our classroom to go to the Hands On

Museum. I feel this will be a great opportunity for the children and I’m hoping they will enjoy the trip and learn a lot. If any parents want to volunteer as a chaperon that would be great. A reminder to all those parents who have still not signed up for conferences, please do so. I will do my best to accommodate your schedule and I feel it’s important to meet with all of you to discuss your child’s success. I’m looking forward to seeing all of you. Also, a special thanks to those parents who helped at the Valentines Day party. The children had a blast!!!!!!
