My Philosophy:
I want each student to feel comfortable in my classroom. I would like each student to feel comfortable taking part in a discussion in our class. I want every student to see my excitement for teaching and I would like each student to know that their education is important to me. With that being said, I feel that each student should take responsibility for their education, as well. Each student is expected to come to school prepared and ready to learn.
My Career and Job Goals:
My most important goal is to help each child be successful in learning. My goal is to teach 1st grade for many years. I would eventually like the opportunity to teach prospective teachers.

I enjoy running, softball and golf. I have some skills to perform these activities, but I wouldn't call them talents.

Again, I enjoy running, softball and golf. I love to read and spend time with my family. I have volunteered at the American Red Cross, at a retirement home in Ann Arbor, and with the Big Brother/Big Sister program.
