Collegiate Objective

College in my opinion is a place to gain knowledge about myself, and find out what is happening in the world around me.  College is a great place to figure out what type of person you are and whom you fit in with.  It is an experience to never forget, friends are made and some lost, but overall you find who your true friends really are.  College on a personal level is a way to a fresh start, a way to improve yourself and become the person you’ll be for the rest of your life. On a professional level, I want to learn enough for a successful career, I want my skills to set me apart and make people take a second glance.  I hope to remain on the dean’s list for my duration at this school.  I will use college as a resource to find connections to people in my field.  I will use school-funded programs to help find opportunities to help further set me apart from others in my field.  Internships and job-orientated programs will help me when it comes time to be interviewed for a position later in life.  When I graduate from college I will have several options available, each welcoming me with open arms.  I know that my professional advancement is contingent upon me aligning both my personal and professional experiences and making them one.
