5/3 Bank 5/3 Bank has more than 50 branches and loan offices in the Buckeye State, concentrated in and around Cleveland, Akron, and Columbus. Not content to stay in just one state, AmTrust moved into southeastern Florida in the late 1980s and Arizona in 2000. To better reflect its expansion, the bank's name was changed from Ohio Savings to AmTrust Bank in 2007. The company provides traditional retail services such as checking and savings accounts, credit cards, and CDs. Its banks concentrate on residential lending, primarily one- to four-family residential mortgages. The company traces its roots to Ohio Savings' founding in 1889.
Southeast Energy Southeast Energy is putting a lot of energy into gas and oil exploration and production in the Southwest. The company operates in Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. In 2006 the oil and gas company reported estimated proved reserves of more than 1 trillion cu. ft. of natural gas equivalent, some 95% of which was natural gas. Southwestern Energy is also engaged in natural gas transportation and marketing. The company also operates subsidiary Arkansas Western Gas, which distributes natural gas to about 151,000 customers in Arkansas.
