Collegiate Objective |
Professionally, achieving the highest possible education to my comprehension is my goal. Sure, the years are only getting more challenging, but at the end of it all I want to be able to give myself a pat on the back. I’ll go one step at a time, of course, I’ll aim for a perfect 4.0 GPA, but it’s not the end of the world if that doesn’t happen. As I move through the business program here at Western Michigan University, I’ll be sharp and motivated to better my opportunities, jumping on anything that comes at me. I do not fear a challenge, for fear will only set me back, that’s something I learned in high school and I will continue to believe that the rest of my life. From a personal standpoint, college so far has been everything I expected, and nothing I imagined. As second semester is coming to a close, I find myself more and more comfortable with the direction I want to head in. I know that I’m here to get a higher education, and there is no doubt that that’s happening, but I’m also learning how to be a leader, a good friend, and most importantly, I’m finding out what I’m good at. Right now I can only speculate what the next 3 years will bring me, I know that there is a good possibility that unexpected events will happen, but I trust myself to know that I am in control of my actions, and that I will prevail. College is said to be the glory years, and I believe they are, all I am expected to do is better myself, academically and personally. Sam Santilli |
