Welcome to all parents.

It is my firm belief that education is more meaningful when students are “responsible for their own learning”.  When students pose the questions and seek the answers, they learn more, work harder and take ownership for their achievements.  Therefore, my overall “teaching practice” is to have a student-centered classroom in which I serve as the facilitator.

As facilitator, I am a guide and a resource for my students; allowing them to surpass the goals and objectives that I have set for them and ascend to even higher goals.  I ensure the attainment of these goals by promoting tolerance, understanding and respect for the ideas of all students. 
         

I recognize that there will be times that a teacher-centered activity may be necessary.  However, this type of activity is the exception and not the norm.
