Current Internship Partnerships with WMU:

  • The Kalamazoo Gazette and WMU’s School of Communication partner to provide internships specifically for WMU students in the Fall and Spring semesters. The Fall internship application is due in April; the Spring internship application is due in October. Check with the journalism internship advisor for specific dates.


  • The Three Rivers Commercial-News (about 20 minutes away) also has news internships for WMU journalism majors in both the Fall and Spring semesters as well as the summer. See the journalism internship advisor for details.
