Course Description

Math 1160 is designed to give the student a background in the elements of Finite Mathematics. Included will be the following topics: linear equations, linear inequalities, solving systems of linear equations, linear programming, matrices, the mathematics of finance, difference equations, sets, counting techniques, and an introduction to basic probability, conditional probability, and tree diagrams.
