ECE 5710: State Space Control Systems |
Course Description |
| ECE 5710 is an introduction to the state-space representation of linear systems. As such, the classical Laplace transform techniques that you are already familiar will be assumed but not emphasized. Instead, we will perform time-domain analysis of differential equations on linear systems. Thus, this course forms the basis upon which modern electrical engineering is founded. The material in this course serves as the basis for other graduate courses. This is especially true if your program emphasizes controls. Therefore, it is strongly recommended that electrical engineering majors take this course at the beginning of their academic program. Students from other mathematically oriented programs are encouraged to take this course. | |||
