Collegiate Objective
For me, college is a chance to figure out what I want to do in life. I am currently a freshman in the Haworth College of Business here at Western. I know I want to do something in the business field. But I'm just not sure what yet. Whatever it may be, I would like to obtain the skills needed to pursue a career in any field that I decide on. Hopefully being here at college, living on my own and taking on new responsibilities will help me find my path and become successful and any direction life leads me.
I have many goals in life, but one that is very important to me while here at college is to maintain a 3.5 GPA all through my college career. Another goal of mine is to obtain an internship somewhere or maybe just get a good job while I'm attending school where I can get my foot in the door into the career path I am headed. I know that college is a whole new world compared to high school where I used to just be worried about my social life and didn't really pay much attention to school. Now that I am responsible for myself and my own futute I have realized how very important school is to get a good education and obtain skills I will carry on with me in life. I have cracked down and I am studying and getting good grades since I have been here and it is my mission not to fail myself alogn with others around me.
