Collegiate Objective

The meaning of success in college, to me, is being able to portray how you were successful after graduation. What you did in those four years at college means nothing now except for what you can show for it, whether this means a career, a family, money, or whatever success means to the individual. I hope to have a successful career in a challenging and interesting business field. As of now, I do not know exactly what I want to do, but I know I want to make myself marketable and successful in the market. While in college, I will prepare myself to reach my goals by getting involved as much as possible in interesting pursuits on campus that pertain to my career goals. I will also take the challenging classes that are relevant to my pursuits and my current job in Western Michigan's finance department will also help me to grow and learn more about the business field.

For my personal goals, I want to be able to feel like I am successful after college. I do not know exactly what I will be doing or how I will achieve this, but I am hoping that college will help me to realize how I can be successful in my life, whatever that may be. College helps to do this by helping me to meet many different people and being able to explore the different opportunities in the job market.
