In-Class Assignment - Story Map and Interview Plan

 

1. Write down your story topic in the center of a piece of paper.

 

2. Write your story's unique and new angle directly underneath the topic.

 

3. Make a concept map based on the background research and interviews you have done (specific instructions will be given during class).

 

4. Write the names of at least eight different possible sources (see below):

 

*Two involved in the story/issue.

*Two sources affected by the story.

*Two expert sources.

*Two that provide other perspectives/POVs.

 

5. Now, write an outline for your story.

What will be in the lead? nut graf? what are the blocks of the body of the story?

 

Turn in your responses to all of the questions listed above.

 

Turn in your preliminary story outline.
