Please refer to the Department of Communication website at www.wmich.edu/communication for important information regarding registration, admission requirements, and academic policies. Also, please check our website periodically for any new announcements or news.

E-MAIL: The only email address that should be used for communication between WMU students and WMU faculty and staff is the email address associated with a BroncoNet ID. This email address typically takes the form "firstname.middleinitial.lastname@wmich.edu." An example is buster.h.bronco@wmich.edu. Students cannot automatically forward email from this address to other addresses. Students can access this email account or get instructions for obtaining a BroncoNet ID at GoWMU.wmich.edu.

Please see me if you need to access special services or contact the Coordinator of Services for Learning Disabled Students. Please read this note to access information about exam accomodations.

If you require accommodations, we will make sure you have access to these accomodations. Please let me know the specific accommodations needed at the beginning of the semester and provide written documentation for the accomodations. If you require testing accomodations, please let me know at the beginning of the semester as well as a week prior to each examination. All students requesting test accommodations are required to take the examinations on the dates and times the examinations are scheduled. It is the student's responsibiltiy to make arrangements for test accommodations with the Coordinator of Services for Learning Disabled Students at least three weeks prior to the scheduled exam date to ensure access to testing rooms and services offered by that office. If such arrangements are not made in advance, the exam must be taken during the regularly scheduled testing time in the computer lab.
