My very first job was to weed onion fields for my Uncle Rob. He owned many onion and potato fields in Martin, MI. Even though the job was not very enjoyable, it was bearable because I was working with my cousins.

The second job I ever had was the summer before my freshman year of high school. My friend Jon and myself decided to get a job working at a blueberry farm on the west side of Martin, MI. We had to sort through blueberries, that came down a conveyor belt. Our job was to pick out the smashed blueberries, green blueberries, sticks and leaves, and pull off the stems. It was important that we did this, because the farm then shipped the blueberries out to be delivered to the grocery stores.

The next job that I had during high school, was working for my dad. My dad is responsible for taking care of the lawncare duties for the Martin Township hall, Memorial Park, and surrounding cemetaries. I did such things as mow the lawn, weedwack, trim hedges, cut down trees, etc.

During the first couple years of college I worked at a gas station in Otsego, MI. I worked as a cashier, but was also responsibe for making sure the shelves were always stocked (the store was very small!!)

During my undergraduate time at WMU, I worked as a student for WMU dining services (Valley II Cafeteria) and the WMU Athletic Department, specifically the facilities division.

While attending college I also worked at the target store on West Main St. I only worked there for two summers. I had to wake up and be to work by 4:00am, four days a week. I was a part of the flow team, and had to unload semi truck deliveries, and stock the shelves.

My current job is working as a graduate assistant for the WMU Athletic Ticket Office. I work half-days for five days a week, except during the fall and winter sports season. During the fall sports season I am required to work every home football game and also help out with some hockey games. In the winter sports season I am required to run every women's basketball home game, and help out with some men's basketball and hockey games.
