My favorite collegiate sports team is the Western Michigan University Broncos. I received my undergraduate degree from WMU, and during that time had the opportunity to attend many sporting events for free. My favorite WMU sports moment was at a basketball game. It was in 2004 and was the ESPN bracketbuster game vs. the College of Charleston. The arena was packed and the highlight was when Anthony Kann made a shot at the buzzer to send the game into overtime. The Broncos went on to win the game, win the MAC conference, and earn a berth into the NCAA tournament. |

The Detroit Tigers are my favorite professional baseball team. I have been to Tiger Stadium to watch them play such teams as the Milwaukee Brewers, New York Yankees, and the Texas Rangers. My highlight from Tiger Stadium is when i got to watch Nolan Ryan pitch. My favorite players back then were Lou Whitaker and Alan Trammel. I have also watched many games at Comerica Park, I have seen my Tigers play the Minnesota Twins, Chicago White Sox, and the Houston Astros. My current favorite tiger is Carlos Guillen. |

My favorite NFL football team is the Detroit Lions. I know, I know!!! The Lions have not been a real good team lately, but you have to stay loyal to your teams. I can still remember the glory days of Barry Sanders and hard hitting linebacker Chris Spielman. I was also able to attend the last home football game at the Silverdome. The Lions defeated the Dallas Cowboys. I have not yet watched a Lions game at Ford Field, but have watched the MHSAA high school football finals. |
