From a professional standpoint, I am starting to realize that the courses I am currently taking will guide me to a career I will most likely fulfill. I declared business as my major because I know that with a business degree, there are so many job opportunities that branch off from that degree, that I will hopefully find one that suits me. A goal of mine has always been to maintain a steady G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher, and so far, I have achieved this goal throughout my entire schooling years. I am the type that does not accept failure and will do whatever it takes to succeed. After I graduate in either 2009 or 2010, I will leave Western Michigan University with a business degree and hopefully begin my career in the world of marketing and sales.

On the other hand, from a personal standpoint, I have already realized what it's like to be on your own and become independent. I have always been a very independent person by my parents were always there to guide me through, now, it's time for me to do my own thing. I'm hoping college will make me an all-around more capable person and help me encounter the real world.
