On a personal level, I came to college to expand my education, and to figure out what I want to do with the rest of my life. I want to learn about myself and challenge myself with harder and more difficult things. I know that I'll make the wrong choice here and there, but that's how I'm going to learn things. I have to learn from my mistakes and make changes as needed along the way. I want to become more responsible for myself and the desicions that I make. Coming to college will also help me get use to living on my own, and slowly having to pay for myself, and not relying on my parents financially. This way while I'm in college and I do need help I know my parents are more likely going to help me. But after college I'm all on my own. I don't want to learn everything the hard way. I also came to keep doing the sport that I enjoy doing, gymnastics.
On a professional level, I want to find a career that I'm good at and also that I enjoy. I can't do something unless I like it. Otherwise I won't do the best that I can. One goal that I want to achieve in college, is to receive a 4.00 GPA in at least one semester of my 4 or 5 years here at Western Michigan. I also want to continue my positive GPA as I did back in high school. Another goal is graduating in the top 25% of my class.
