1. Recipe for Diaper Slime!

-Use scissors to cut a diaper into 1-inch chunks. Put all the chunks into a reseable plastic bag.

-Seal the bag, then shake it for several minutes or until a spoonful of white poweder has settle to the bottom of the bag.

-Open the bag and remove the diaper pieces. Throw them away.

-Add a little water to the powder and knead to mix. Keep adding water until you are satisfied with the texture of your slime. You might be surprised by the amount of water you can add!

YOUR ASSIGNMENT: Choose one of the following and report back to the class:

Drying Slime: Put a thin layer of diaper slime into a shallow container. Set the container someplace warm and dry. Check the slime every couple of hours. What do you notice?

Breakdown: Put a really thick blob of diaper slime into a cup. Then sprinkle a generous amount of salt on top of the slime. What happens?
