Collegiate Objective

On a professional level, I want to learn to become proficient in anything that I want to.  I want to be able to use my collegiate skills to get a job and be successful in that job.  In high school I never put that much effort in, in college I have tried to work very hard and the rewards have been fulfilling.  I want to continue to work hard so that I can get a job after I graduate.  Another goal of mine is to get a 4.0, I got a 3.63 my first semester at Western Michigan University.  A 4.0 is perfect, it means that I have worked to perfection in all my classes.  The last and most important professional goal that I have is to transfer to Michigan State University.  I applied and I hope that I will be attending in fall of 2007.  That goal is very important to me because of my pursuing of a business degree.  While Western Michigan has a good business program, Michigan State’s is among the top 25 in the country when one is ranking business schools.  These professional goals of mine are not only something that I want to do, but something that I need to do.

On a personal level, I want to have a good time in college no matter where I go.  I want college to provide me with an education and other than that just personal things that cannot be learned or provided in a classroom.  Those things are focused on good times and good people.  Both of those are very important to my collegiate objective on a personal level.  Having a fun time is always important, no matter what I do I want to be able to enjoy it to a certain degree.  Being with good people is just a stepping stone to have a good time.  These things are things that don’t really matter in a professional sense but are so important on a personal level.
