Final Project
- Hola~! My name is Taylor Ranshaw and I
currently attend Western Michigan University. I am majoring in
Telecommunications Information Management and Spanish. I love to play
the guitar and read. I have only been in Kalamazoo for two years but I
enjoy the town very much. I am originally from Lapeer Michigan, near
Flint on the East side of Michigan. After High school I went to the
Community College in Flint. I have my Associates Degree in the Arts
from Mott Community College, and there I transferred to WMU in 2007. I also have my
Manicuring Liscense from Grondin's College of Cosmetology. I am
liscensed to do nails, but it is not something I want to do as a
career. I recently started volunteering at the local SPCA and am
trying my best to encourage all my friends to do so as well! I would
love to foster or adopt a dog, but my time will come! For now, I have one
bird named Petrie, who is a Quaker Parrot, he definitely keeps me company. I also
have a great family and circle of friends to keep me busy. Recently I
lost my Best Friend and Little Sister, Timberly (above, right) from complications due to
Lupus. This is my first semester back at Western and I know she would
encourage me to keep doing my best no matter what life throws at me. I
enjoy my classes this semester and after graduation hope to get into a
job that I love and keep celebrating life. We truly are blessed. Adios
