About Western Michigan University |
|||
In its annual ranking of the nation’s 4,000 colleges and universities, U.S. News & World Report consistently lists WMU as one of the nation’s top 100 public universities. This should make any student at WMU proud to be a Bronco. Other points of pride include WMU being one of the 100 largest universities in the nation, with an enrollment of nearly 25,000 students. Also, in 1905, the University started offering branch classes. Today Western is home to eight branch campuses across Michigan, all of which provide primarily graduate and professional education.
