Scholarship opportunity

The Leonard and Frances A. Gernant Gerontology Scholarship fosters undergraduates who are full-time students; demonstrate overall high academic achievement and dedication to a career in health and human services; and exhibit a substantial interest in aging. Annual awards are made up to $1,000. Funds may be used for educationally related expenses such as tuition, fees and books. Funds not exhausted by graduation are returned to the fund.

To apply, describe in 1,000 words or less:

  1. your interest in gerontology,
  2. any past experiences you have had in the field, and
  3. your future plans and how they relate to gerontology.

Applications must be submitted no later than friday, December 15, 2007. You can them, or drop them off at the Admissions Office of the School of Work, CHHS building.
