Dr. Martz is a faculty member of Western Michigan University's Haworth College of Business and teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in marketing strategy, marketing research, and multinational marketing. In addition, Dr.
Martz has served as an invited lecturer at the University of South Florida and is the founding president of the American Marketing Association, Southwest Michigan.
Dr. Martz earned his Ph.D. in Evaluation from Western Michigan University, holds an M.B.A. with a concentration in marketing, and a B.S. in Industrial Management from Purdue University. His professional and research interests include organizational strategy, organizational effectiveness, decision-making in business, and evaluation theory.
Dr. Martz is a member of the American Evaluation Association (AEA), American Marketing Association (AMA), and Beta Gamma Sigma honor society for collegiate schools of business. He also serves on the review board of the Journal of Mixed Methods Research and is a SCORE volunteer.
