My Grandfather a Montford Point Marine

In 2012 the Montford Point marines recieveed the congressional medal of honor. My grandfather may not have been in the service since the end of WWII but he would always talk about being apart of the first black marines. Even when he had Alzheimer's he couldn't remember anything other than he was a marine or captain of the Hamtramck police department even though he wasn't. After the war he came back home and worked at the police station for 20 years.
