Personally speaking, I plan on my college experience being one of the most defining time periods of my life. I plan on making this goal a reality in a variety of ways. First of all, I plan on gaining the confidence and the experience neccessary for the rest of my life. I don't plan on Western Michigan University and Kalamazoo to be the only aspects that contribute to my ultimate objective; I plan to also study abroad in the Spring/Summer of 2008 in Bönn, Germany. I also expect the events and people that I encounter outside of Kalamazoo before I graduate to also shape and mold me into a complete individual. If I can combine the experience with a sound education, then I believe that I will have prepared myself for the future as much as possible. I plan to graduate with enough memories to fill a lifetime.

Professionally speaking, I expect my college experience to equip me with every neccessary tool to eventually succeed at whatever I may choose. If the ups and downs of my future career do not reflect those of my college experience, then I hope that my college experience will have at least given me the confidence and education to handle the challenges, no matter how difficult or sudden. I truly believe that after studying abroad and most specifically, graduating, I should never flinch in the face of any obstacle in my career.
