Anna Oswalt's Final Exam

The difference between a Google page rank-based search results and sponsored links is one is finding sites that had similar key words and the other are people paying to get their website seen more. When you’re making your website you can place in a spot a description of your website along with some key words that people may type into a search engine. Google recognizes these words and when someone does type any of them into a search engine, Google will make sure that your website is one of the ones to appear. Now when someone sponsors a link, they pay money to make sure that their site not only pops up when the key words are searched for, but pops up towards the top of the search engine.
