Summary. Calanthe otuhanica is described from ultramafic substrates on Mt. Kinabalu. The taxon is known from only 2 populations growing in one localized region on the mountain and is probably endemic there. Calanthe otuhanica is probably most closely related to C. kinabaluensis found at lower elevations on the mountain.
